About Me

Born and raised in Manchester, I left school at 15 and went to Fielden Park College and achieved my NNEB. Although I worked for Manchester city council day nurseries all my working career, art has always been a passion of mine. Through visiting various galleries around the world to improve my knowledge of the the subject and through my love of travel and different cultures, textiles have become a major part of my life. In 2006, I decided to attend Tameside college where I achieved a BTEC National Dipolma in Textile Foundation. After earning my qualifications, I was lucky enough to find a unit at Woodend Mill, Mossley where I am able to create my work and constantly develop my style with different techniques.
